Stuck in a rut...

Alright, so, I rarely update this thing, or any journal, for that matter. But, I thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone had any ideas that can get me going on the Kerrik project.

In the most recent adaptation of my story, Kerrik is compelled to travel the world, either to seek out other members of the Vulpis family, or he's doing something else and he encounters them on the way. What I'm stuck on is: why? What compels him? Does he seek something from someone? Is he seeking out someone? Is he running for his life? Honestly, I can't think of anything. Any suggestions?

Kerrik is a naturally curious fox am I right?

Maybe he gets sick of what ever he is doing before that and decides he wants to go find new experiences. (And you could have fun throwing calamities his away for it too. xD)

That probably doesn't really help your situation but thats all I got. x3

He heard a tidbit from a Vulpis who heard from other vulpis long ago (hence searching for the other members), the tidbit could have something to do with his family history, or maybe his future, like a prophesy... Or maybe hes good friends with one and the tidbit was about them... Anyways, he has to find the others for more information that may or may not be anything important..
